Katy Fendall Films - Wedding Videographer
Dear C and M,
From the very beginning, your story felt like one built on timing, distance, resilience and ultimately finding your way back to one another.
Château Lagut was such a beautiful setting for your celebration — intimate, warm and filled with the people who know and love you best. Although the rain changed the plans, somehow it made everything feel even more magical. The wood-panelled room, the glow of the roaring fire and the closeness of everyone gathered together created such an unforgettable atmosphere for your ceremony.
Having Chelsea’s brother officiate made the whole day feel incredibly personal. There was so much emotion in the room, balanced perfectly with laughter and joy throughout. Every part of the day felt genuine and completely centred around the two of you and the life you have created together.
One of the moments that will stay with me most was your entrance into the wedding breakfast — your wedding party holding the plastic sheet above you both while guests cheered you into the room. It perfectly captured the spirit of the day: relaxed, joyful, unfiltered and full of love. Even the rain became part of the story in the best possible way.
As always, James Carr created such an incredible atmosphere, carrying the celebrations late into the evening and filling Château Lagut with energy and music.
Your film was created to preserve all of it — not just the big moments, but the feeling of the day itself. The warmth of the fire, the sound of the rain outside, the laughter echoing through the château, the way your family and friends surrounded you both with so much love, and all the little in-between moments that made the celebration uniquely yours.
It was such a privilege to capture your wedding story in France, and I hope your film always brings you back to that incredible weekend surrounded by the people who matter most. Thank you for choosing me as your wedding videographer.
